1. Chemical poisoning of three-way catalytic converter!



The engine burns engine oil, the mixture is too thick, and the black smoke will greatly reduce the ternary life!



Rare metals on the surface of the three-way catalytic converter lose their activity and cannot play a catalytic role. The sulfur and phosphorus in the smoke produced by burning engine oil or black smoke, and the carbon monoxide produced by manganese and lead in gasoline antiknock agent will cause ternary poisoning and cause failure!



2. Excessive carbon deposition!



The large amount of carbon deposits produced by the engine will hinder the function of the three-way catalyst, which will greatly reduce the activity of rare metals in the three-way catalyst. After being blocked, it will also cause the engine to accelerate and malfunction, such as firing and stalling!



3. High temperature will cause ternary cracking!



Although the working temperature of the three-way catalytic converter is very high, the high temperature will also cause the three-way cracking and crushing! Especially, due to problems such as ignition timing or deflagration, the flame emitted by the engine burns in the catalyst, and intense oxidation exothermic reaction occurs. This problem is more likely to occur in modified natural gas vehicles!
